A Truly Malaysian Homestay Experience

One of the best Malaysian experiential tourism is to enjoy its warm, great hospitality. As you indulge in a countryside break for homestay experience, there is always an opportunity to learn and immerse in the local culture.

Whether you choose to stay in a traditional house with a friendly host family or not, you probably enjoy the rustic charms of village pastimes while dabbling with a wealth of traditional arts, crafts and culture.

From the cool lushness of the rural setting to the great outdoor activities and authentic local delights, our homestays offer a unique experience like no other. With the new ASEAN Homestay Standard, visitors can rest assured on the cleanliness in food preparation, accommodation as well as its eco-friendliness quality.

One of the main features that make the Malaysian homestay experience distinctive is a concept of community-based tourism that focus more on the lifestyle, including cultural and economic activities of local people.

While some homestays may be tucked away in the hinterland, others might be located near town. Whatever your choice of preferred homestay, savour every moment and have a pleasant day and stay in Malaysia!
